Stash the Trash!
Many thanks to everyone who showed up throughout the morning on Sunday, May 3rd to assist with the neighborhood clean-up, working together to keep Sparta beautiful! We were joined by our NY State Legislator, Dana Levenberg, whose office is down Revolutionary Rd.
We've submitted a 2025-2026 Traffic and Pedestrian Safety Survey of the Sparta neighborhood to the Ossining Village for this year's budget review season. In the meantime, the survey is still open if you think of anything else you want to add for next year's submission.
Membership dues help the Sparta Association accomplish important administration for our neighborhood! Below are a few examples of what we need membership dues for. You can join or renew at any time. We will proactively ask all neighbors to renew their memberships at the annual meeting in March of each year.

The Sparta Association is a neighborhood community organization formed initially back in the 1970s with the purpose of preserving and improving the quality of life in Sparta. The Sparta Association holds meetings four times a year, or as significant issues arise that impact our local community, to work together – or with our elected officials – to seek solutions.
